What is SEO?

The full form of SEO is search engine optimization. SEO is the process by which we create a website or blog in such a way that search engines like Google, Bing can crawl and index the website and after indexing, it can give better ranking on its search result page.

Why is it important to do SEO of website or blog?

If we want to search anything online then we search on Google. And if something is not on Google then it will not be found by searching online. So now think, if your website is not on Google, will people find your website when they search? No way.

Google is a search engine. Other search engines like Google are – Bing, Yahoo, Baidu. But most of the searches in the world are done on Google only. When we search by typing a word on Google, Google searches the content related to that word in its database. Google shows links to those webpages on the search engine results page (SERP) that matches the content.

All search engines work in almost the same way. Therefore, websites and blogs also have to be created in such a way that search engines can read and index your website. Otherwise people will not know about your website.
